Jazz bassist John Leitham
built his career by playing with some of the best: Woody Herman,
Mel Torme, George Shearing, Peggy Lee, Doc Severinsen. One
day not too long ago, John Leitham disappeared and resurfaced
as Jennifer Leitham.
Referred
to by noted jazz critic Leonard Feather as the "left-handed
virtuoso of the upright bass," this 20- to 30-minute
short documentary will showcase the music and journey of Jennifer
Jane Leitham.
